She created The Amity Agency to make matches between employers and employees. Amity takes a personal interest in every candidate she works with and every position she looks to fill, and she prides herself on facilitating “matches made in heaven!” Amity graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in Advertising. She started her career in sales, selling educational media. Throughout this time she found herself always helping friends and people she knew get jobs. Eventually she decided to become a recruiter and do this full time. Amity spent five and a half years recruiting for The Tuttle Agency in Manhattan. She specialized in what she knew—Sales, Advertising & Marketing. Taking her experience to the next level and broadening her expertise a bit, The Amity Agency was born in 2009. Amity now recruits on Eastern Long Island, with a wider scope of industries and job types.
